So classes have started and the last year of my Bethel Chapter has begun. No I am not that sappy girl that is going to say that everything is my last of whatever, but it is hard not to keep that in the back of my mind. For example: today was my last-first chapel, today was also my last-first day singing "My Country Tis' Of Thee". Today was my last-first Prime Time of the year! So-I don't want to be that girl. ha ha
Lately, things have been interesting here in Bethel Country-I am learning a lot and trying to take it step by step. You never know how much you've grown until you realize that you have gotten farther than you have ever thought possible. Today was just a nice day of verbalizing a realization that I have had in my mind for some time-yeah, I have been hurt by past relationships (dating and friendship alike) but without those hurts-I wouldn't be here today. That if I wasn't single-I wouldn't be where I am today. And I Love That! I love that I can look back and be content with my mistakes, my fumbles, and my many faults. They have shaped me and molded me into who I am today. Those mistakes and faults will continue to mold me even until my last days at Bethel and here on Earth. We never stop growing and becoming more like Christ, sure we ask God for a break-but He knows best. If I am allowed to challenge anyone-go back and look at who you were a year from now, what has happened, what has helped you grow, what has held you back, and where are you now. The progress or the back-steps will be obvious, but you are different and one step closer to becoming more and more like Christ-despite anything that has gotten in your way. It's going to be a great year-embrace it. :)
